Intelligence to unlock value at the counter

Hyper-personalization for pharmacies: the brain that connects your management system to the counter

Your chain already has a pharmacy management system, a loyalty program and pharmacists who recommend. Farmatio is the layer that decides what to recommend on every visit: shopping missions, Rx + OTC bundles, add-ons and replenishment — within what regulation allows.

+110% growth in non-pharma categories over the last 5 years at Brazil’s leading chains (Abrafarma / IQVIA)
10–15% revenue lift from personalization (McKinsey)
10% stock-out rate at large pharmacy chains — up to 50% at independents (ECR Brasil)
97% of sales identified at RD Saúde: the data is there — it needs activating in a personalized way
Where it fits

A smart complement between your management system and the counter

Your management system records every ticket and your pharmacists recommend at the counter. What is missing in between is the layer that decides what to recommend, to whom, and how much to replenish. That layer is Farmatio.

FarmatioWhat to recommend & what to replenish

Decides the best recommendation for every visit and the replenishment level for every store — and measures the result.

How & when

COUNTER + CRM (optional)

The pharmacist delivers the recommendation; app, WhatsApp and email sustain adherence

External inputs. We also read your wholesalers and labs — sell-out, stock and discounts (Del Sud, Suizo Argentina, Monroe · Profarma, Santa Cruz, Panpharma · Nadro, Marzam) — to anticipate stock-outs and build bundles with commercial backing.

We replace nothing. Farmatio plugs into your management system in weeks and gets more out of what you already own: higher ticket per visit, fewer stock-outs, measured ROI.

No loyalty program? We work with anonymous tickets and store-level data. Already have one? Even better: we personalize per patient.

The platform

Four modules, four pools of value

Every recommendation delivered at the counter comes back as data: the system learns what works by mission, store and season.

The Farmatio loop Tickets from your management system run through four modules — missions, to understand what the patient came for; patients, to win them back and keep them; actions, so every counter action pays; and replenishment, to have what the patient is looking for —, the recommendation reaches the counter and comes back as data, closing a loop of learning and profitable growth. The math

The solution that pays for itself

Typical case: a 200-store chain, USD 300M in annual sales (USD 1.5M per store), 40% in addressable categories. Rounded numbers.

Chain sales
USD 300M 200 stores × USD 1.5M a year
Addressable categories
USD 120M 40%: OTC, dermocosmetics and convenience — Rx excluded
Ticket uplift
+5% McKinsey measures 10–15%; we apply it conservatively
Recommendation contribution
USD 2.1M USD 6M incremental × 35% gross margin
+ Avoided stock-outs
USD 1M 1 point of stock-outs recovered ≈ USD 3M in sales
≈ USD 3M of added contribution per year
~5x ROI on Farmatio’s annual fee
2 levers counter recommendation + availability
Run the math with your numbers

Estimates based on public benchmarks (Abrafarma / IQVIA, McKinsey, ECR Brasil, RD Saúde and Fragua reports). Assumptions: USD 1.5M per store, 40% addressable categories, +5% ticket, 35% gross margin on OTC and dermocosmetics. Your real number is measured against control stores.

Commercial model

Low barrier to entry, price tied to value

1 · Starter pilot USD 39 / store / month

90 days, up to 10 stores, all four modules live. Measured against control stores from day 1.

2 · Base fee From USD 60 / store / month

Tiered by store count. Includes integration with your management system, onboarding in 6–8 weeks and delivery-team support.

3 · Performance fee 10–15% of incremental margin

Only on uplift verified against control stores. If it doesn’t show up, we don’t charge it. In the typical case, total fees stay below 20% of the value created.

Compliance

Designed within regulation, not despite it

Farmatio does not promote prescription drugs. It works on OTC, dermocosmetics and convenience, and on adherence through reminders. Medicine purchase data is sensitive health data and is treated as such.
